Blogging in April is Hard!

Blogging in January and February is easy…. Dark early, cold and wet, cooped up inside, you have plenty of time to think, brood, brainstorm, and bang away on the keyboard…. Blogging in the Spring is hard!
The sun is out, the weather is warming, flowers are blooming, chores are standing by impatiently in the corner stomping their feet, and well…. there’s Baseball. Our National Pastime consumes the bulk of our family’s free (and often times previously committed) time in the Spring. It’s a beautiful game played in the most wonderful time of the year, and from Mid-February to Mid-May each year, it has our full attention.
We had a really good season this year with a league that was as balanced as I have seen in a while. We won more games than we lost, and every game that we played was tightly contested, with a couple of games decided literally by which way the ball bounced!
Alas, just as quickly as it came alive this year, Baseball Season has now come to a regrettable end, and our activities now morph into lakeside leisure, boating, floating, swimming and the like. With several more hours of time now on hand, I will post a bit to catch you up on what the last couple of months of this journey has brought.
Thank you for your interest, and thank you for your continued support.
